Service of Remembrance
As long as hearts remember, As long as hearts still care,
We do not part with those we love, They’re with us everywhere.
Duke Hospice Bereavement Services invites you to join us at the Unicorn Bereavement Center for our next Service of Remembrance. Held twice a year in the lovely Carver Gardens behind the center.
This time of commemoration and reflection is open to all grieving persons in our community. While not a religious ceremony, the service is spiritual in nature and includes music, poetry, an invitation to speak the name of your loved one, and a reception. It usually lasts less than an hour.
Please come dressed for comfort in the great outdoors. Service will be moved indoors in the event of rain or inclement weather.
For more information, please call (919) 644-6869.
Our next service will be held on
Saturday, November 7, 2009 10:30 am

Memorial Brick Dedication
Duke Hospice offers two Brick Dedications each year (spring and fall). These services are held in the W.S. Carver Gardens, located behind the Unicorn Bereavement Center in Hillsborough. They provide a meaningful way for family and friends to honor or remember their loved one. Each brick is engraved with your message and placed in the walkway in the gardens. This is a lasting way to honor and remember loved ones. The next Brick Dedication is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 9:30 AM in the Carver Gardens in Hillsborough. Registration is required. For more information contact Danielle Irving at 919-620-3853, extension 253.
